Education - West Coast College of Massage Therapy 1992

Yvon is a French Canadian who grew up in a small farm town in southern Saskatchewan. He moved to Vancouver to enroll in the massage therapy program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy which held the highest level of training available in Canada. Yvon graduated in 1992 and has been practicing in Burnaby ever since. His passion for massage therapy continues to be as strong as ever and he looks forward to many more years of helping people with their health and wellness goals.

Yvon’s style of treatment is an accumulation of many different modalities that he has learned through the years of continuing education. He primarily uses deep tissue massage techniques, trigger point therapy, fascial release, joint play, cranial sacral therapy, somato emotional release and remedial exercises. He pays special attention to listen to the patients’ needs and concerns and he relies on his intuition as well as his experience to best treat his patient’s pain, injuries or manage chronic issues.

In his spare time Yvon enjoys living an active life style, he cycles to work, hikes, plays hockey, mountain bikes, road cycles, skis, has competed in triathlons, half Iron Man’s, Gran Fondos and enjoys coaching his kids in their sports.
