Education - West Coast College of Massage Therapy 1992
Yvon received his massage therapy training from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) in Vancouver, British Columbia, which held the highest level of training available in Canada. Â He graduated in 1992 and practiced in Burnaby for 32 years and as of October 1, 2024 has moved his practice to New Westminster. Â His passion for the profession of massage therapy continues to be as strong as ever and he looks forward to many more years of helping people with their health and wellness goals.
Yvon’s style of treatment is an accumulation of many different modalities that he learnt from attending the WCCMT and through continuing education courses. He primarily uses deep tissue massage therapy techniques, trigger point therapy, fascial release, joint play, cranial sacral therapy, somato emotional release and remedial exercises. He listens with care to his patients’ needs and concerns and he relies on his intuition as well as his experience to provide the best care to his patients who are dealing with stress, pain, injuries or chronic tension.
In his spare time Yvon enjoys living an active life style and enjoys various outdoor and indoor activities. Cycling, hiking, weight training and swimming remain some of the top on his list.
